Following our recent #1MoreShot trial in Manchester, in partnership with Hubbub, we’re pleased to announce that will be extending our coverage to include the city, starting from 1st June 2017. The three-month pilot, that kicked off in October 2016, was a huge success and proved that there was strong demand from businesses for a cup recycling solution as well as a real willingness shown by consumers to put their coffee cups in the right bins.
To support the launch of the scheme in Manchester we will be providing a 50% reduction on Customer Membership for all businesses that commit to joining Simply Cups by 30th April 2017. Membership categories are as follows:
- Large Customer (over 200 employees) Year 1 Membership – £500 (discounted from £1,000)
- Education Sector & Venues Year 1 Membership – £250 (discounted from £500)
- Small Customer (less than 200 employees) Year 1 Membership – £100 (discounted from £200)
Membership to the scheme includes the following benefits:
- Access to collections at £1.50 per bag of cups
- Site consultation
- Provision of employee communication material
- Membership Certificate
- Regular reports
- Web site listing
- One free launch event (not applicable to Small Customer Membership)
- Inclusion in Annual Report
- Invite to Simply Cups Annual Members event
Throughout May we will be meeting with those organisations who have signed up to the scheme so that we can design the most efficient system to recover segregated cups from their sites, before commencing the collection service from June 1st.
