Now in its eighth year, The London Coffee Festival is Europe’s largest gathering of coffee aficionados and, at this year event, Simply Cups had a major presence.
Partnering with ashortwalk, we launched the rCUP; the world’s first reusable cup made from used cups. More to come on this! We also, through our parent Closed Loop Recycling, provided all the cleaning for the 3-day event, with Simply Cups co-founders, Simply Waste Solutions, providing the waste management.
We also supplied a number of bespoke cup recycling bins at the show, in partnership with Seda and Regency Design, with a commitment that all of the used cups from the event will be recycled into new products.
Our leader, Peter Goodwin, also took part in a cup recycling panel debate hosted by Allegra Events CEO, Jeffrey Young, together with Paul Synnott, Managing Director at Seda UK and Packaging News’ editor Waqas Qureshi.
