We are delighted to announce two new members to our paper cup collection and recycling scheme; Connect Vending and Maxabel.
Connect Vending is the leading independent vending operator in central England and London and is proud to become the first vending business in the UK to participate in the Simply Cups paper cup recycling scheme. With over 2500 machines under management dispensing 2 cups of hot drinks every second, concern for the environment is a real passion of ours.
Just this month, and so reaffirm its commitment to cup recycling, Connect Vending has announced that it will no longer provide plastic cups, and instead will favour the paper cup.
Maxabel International is a major global supplier of branded disposable paper hot cups and other complementary disposable food and drink packaging products. Joining the Simply Cups scheme is makes perfect sense for Maxabel as it considers environmental issues to be important to its business model and compliments its goal to find ways to prevent its packaging products from unnecessarily reaching landfill sites.
Also, in January of this year, Maxabel launched a new embossed, double wall disposable paper cup with a design inspired by the work of Henry Matisse.
